An Appeal to all Brahmins and Jains

Appeal to all Brahmins and Jains

Two communities in particular try to follow the principles of vegetarian diets as prescribed by their traditions, but they have faced challenges for a few years. These are the brahmins and the Jain community. Here is an appeal to all Brahmins and Jains.

Corruption of diet is another form of poisoning a community, leading to its declining health. Particularly blossoming in the Brahmin Mutts and Jain homes, these new diets are poisoning the health of Brahmins eating in the Mutts and the Jain Munis.

There is a section in the Brahmin communities that would not eat outside of their homes. Apart from their homes, they would eat only in the Mutts, as they consider that the food served in the Mutts is offered to the Lord before it is served, and so is superior to even their home-cooked food.

Does the Lord approve your offering?

It is slightly different for the Jain Munis. Jain Munis go to Bhiksha every morning to the homes of Jain followers. Whatever is offered by the householders is consumed as the divine offering. This is their principle of diet. More often, the Jain householders share what they eat. Sweets, oil-fried foods, and vegetables that are not suitable for their body types, during a particular season, or for the geography of the land, which causes toxicity to build up in the body, potentially leading to health issues. Here is an appeal to all Brahmins and Jains to question your practices.

Appeal to all Brahmins and Jains

It appears that the vegetarian communities of Brahmins and Jains are rapidly becoming ill with symptoms ranging from Hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, gallstones, varicose veins, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, constipation, anal fistula, inflammation in the body, snoring and sleep apnoea, hair loss, and cancer. There are many more symptoms, but essentially, these are the symptoms prevalent in the Brahmin and Jain homes, and they are occurring because of the foods they consume. Here is an appeal to all Brahmins and Jains to question your food habits.

What did their Nadis reveal?

While doing Nadi Pariksha, I have the inside view of what the Mutt and Jain home diets are doing to their bodies, and I am not happy sharing that following the rituals and offering to the Lord, unnatural diets, is by far the most unintelligent way to live. For example, Sweets consumed in between meals as prasadam are mentioned as a practice to be avoided because they will cause indigestion and illnesses in the body.

An Appeal to the Mutts and the Jain families

Most of the vegetables, fruits, grains, cereals, lentils, legumes, and roots are seasonal. And ignorance is not good, especially when the food you prepare is to be shared with others.
